Local business owners Mike and Laura Theriault opened the Moose Creek RV Resort in June 2022 because they saw a shortage of vacation rentals in the Moosehead Lake area, especially high-quality camping sites. They opened with 109 recreational vehicle campsites on 88 acres just east of Moosehead Lake in a wooded setting surrounded by mountains. Next summer they will have an additional 50 campsites to meet the growing demand.
The Resort provides campers with sewer service, water, 30 and 50 amp electrical services and high-speed internet availability. The Resort also boasts a swimming pool, full service bar and pub, restrooms and showers, convenience store, a 3.5 acre trout pond for fishing and paddling, a playground and recreation area, and a dog park.
The Resort is now closed for the winter and will reopen May 16, 2025.
