Local Nonprofits Partner to Raise $5.95M to Buy Big Moose
Ski the View, Save the Mountain Campaign
Two long-established nonprofits – Friends of the Mountain (FOTM) and the Moosehead Lake Region Economic Development Corporation (MLREDC) – are joining forces with the community to purchase Big Moose Ski Resort.
The goal of Ski the View, Save the Mountain is to provide a permanent, affordable nonprofit ski area for generations to come and a year-round outdoor, natural asset that will revitalize the region’s economy.
Fundraising Goal: $5.95M
This will enable the purchase of the 1,700-acre ski mountain property.
