Who We Are

The Moosehead Lake Region Economic Corporation is a 501(c)3 organization established in 2013 by a group of community volunteers with deep ties and commitment to this extraordinarily special place. Following extensive deliberation and planning, the Board set its overarching goals: create a 10-month economy, increase the regional population, and put Moosehead Lake on the map as a great place to visit, live, work and raise a family.

Vision

To help Maine’s Moosehead region be a robust and diversified community with a sustainable economy that highlights the regions character, heritage, and spectacular natural resources.

Objective

To grow and sustain local businesses, attract and create new jobs, and enhance the economy of the Moosehead Lake region.
